This is from a long weekend spent hiking around Redwood National Park and Prairie Creek State Park just south of the California/Oregon border. These parks are home to some of the greatest trees on the planet, as well as some of the greatest trails in the universe. The combination of fog and a light rain here provided a sense of mystery in the distance, complimented by naturally saturated colors on the foreground greenery and path.
