Midnight Rainbow

As the sun was setting just before midnight, a bright streak appeared on the horizon above the ocean. Rain began to fall, the streak intensified, and eventually took the form of a rainbow.

Thanks Erik. No ND filter. It was almost midnight, I used ISO50, and I went to f18 for good depth of field and the desired long exposure.

Jawdropping!
I've been gazing at this for so long, and it just stays overwhelming.
So pristine, so calming, so peaceful.
The horizon is a tiny bit skew, but it doesn't detract from the image. V!
32s exposure - ND filter then?

Are you sure you were on this planet? Pink and blue in this image fit well together. It is a joy to let the eye wonder from one little rocky island to another - following the white lines. The creamy white of the breaking waves make this image even more interesting to look at. v
