My boys look so cute with their face paint. Mr. Spiderman and Mr. Tiger. We had so much fun that day at the parade!

We had a great time as participants in the parade. The crowd seems to love the Dalmatians and we enjoy showing them off. The bad weather went away just to let Roanoke have one of the best parades ever!

What a great day, parade, and tons of smiles everywhere (my favorite).These pics should be sent out to our neighboring states and invited to come, and participate. Big A says thanks again for the hat. Thanks to all the parade folk who handed out "goodies " to all the children.

Had a great time being in the parade and wathing it as well. Thanks to the Roanoke fire divisions for their organizaton of this wonderful event! I hope in the future years the Roanoke Times will dedicate more of the newspaper than just two photos. A full layout of at least two pages would be great. Why not PR divisions it is our time to shine. This parade brings out the smiling faces of many. This also is a great PR opporunity for Roanoke to share with other cities. So, Roanoke Chamber of Commerce, Roanoke Mayor, Roanoke Times and other PR folks promoting our area please celebrate this parade with more visability during and post parade. Again, enjoyed all the fun that this parade provided. Looking forward to the 2009 parade!!

It was my family's first Roanoke St. Pat's parades. We had such a great time! We were standing and watching with folks from TN, NC & PA who came for the weekend just for our St. Pat's celebration. They loved it too - how cool for Roanoke.

Great, great pics. I'm the green beard on the bike (Copper Hill Sidecar Club). Finally got to see the whole parade. Thanx again. PS to bad our local media could give a little more coverage to one of the largest public functions in Roanoke.

Great pictures - it was a terrific parade. Too bad that all the other stuff was cancelled. No one has gotten the weather right for a looooong time.
