Old Inca feast that merged with the Carnaval. It starts the wednesday before Carnaval. Jueves Comadres are the (gossip telling) godmothers... The singers, mainly women (though there seems to be no rule for that) sing repeated simple melodies, in which they tell about the daily life, problems, drama, love and sometimes very humoristic.
