Great Horned Owlet(s), 2005. On a cloudy dull morning, hoping for sunshine on to the nest, but having given up hope for a good shot, I returned to my car. Suddenly the sun appeared through the clouds. I hurried back to the nest (a 10 minute walk away)and was fortunate to get about 15 shots of two little yellow fuzz-balls with pink snoots peeking out from under mother's wings before the sun disappeared again. This is the first photo - note the yellow fuzz below Mom's rear.
