Three images of the Great Horned Owls looking down, shot from almost directly below them.
Note, the Owls, Mom plus the two juvies, are all doing fine and can be found frequently along the south end/edge of Mud Lake, usually not too far from where the nest was located. Dad hasn't been seen for some time. The Owlets are now some 13 weeks old and they are getting to be almost adult size.
Top image: Mom, looking down at a group of kids trying to spot her.
The oldest (I think) of the two young owlets intently looking down at me.
The youngest (I think) and smallest of the two Owlets walking a branch and looking down. Note, this owlet still displays a lot of fluffy feathers on its belly compared to its larger sibling.
