Waiting patiently in the deep snow for the dog walkers to pass before returning to feed below my feeders. For several seasons now, from a few to up to 20 ducks pay daily visits to my feeders to gather the dropped seeds and the seeds I throw on the ground for them and the Squirrels. We back on to vacant government lands and there is a walking trail right behind our fence where people walk their dogs to the annoyance of the ducks as they frequently have to retreat en mass to the hill-top to let the intruders pass. This allows for some good photo-ops.
