Three images entitled "MEETING and CUDDLING UP TO DADDY" Daddy being the Buck that was wounded pretty badly about two years ago; however, he survived and was the dominant male during the rut last Fall.

Top image: "Hi! Are you my Dad?"

"Don't cry Daddy."

"I love you Dad."

This is the first time I've seen the big Buck, probably the Dad, mingle with the young Fawns. Previously I've only seen young Fawns play with younger Bucks. Looks like Daddy will be a 12 pointer this year.

This is like being in my front yard only with more trees and a much more skilled wildlife photographer. I have never seen the kids near an adult male like this. Very nice mini series, Hank.

Amazing shots, Hank. How sweet they are together! Interestingly enough we had a fawn following and frolicking with a buck in the yard last week. It was the first time I have ever seen that sort of interaction. Wish I could have gotten shots this good! As it turns out I didn't get any. If I had gotten up the dogs would have seen them and chased them off anyway with their barking.
