20100206 312 Porcupine.jpg

Mud Lake, Ottawa

My first shot of a porcupine, with its eyes open and on the ground. Previously, I've only ever found them up in a tree with their eyes closed. This fella was so intent on eating that it totally ignored several people watching it and taking shots from several meters away.
