These gregarious birds attacked the pile of cattle feed with abandon and gusto as if their life depended on it. They scratched and kicked scattering feed in all directions as if trying to get just the right seed or beak-full before hurriedly taking off again. The following six images illustrate some of the feeding frenzy.

Top image: This Bunting appears to be checking us out prior to attacking the feed.
