20090706 189 Green Heron (Juv) - SERIES.jpg

Three images of some recently fledged Green Herons. Reportedly, there are six young Herons at the lagoon where they resided; however, I only saw three. This is my first sighting of them.


Note: The young Heron has not yet shed all of its baby fluff.

Somewhat amusing behavior from the young Heron fledgling, especially in the topmost image where circles of confusion in the background seem to echo the youngsters eyes. V
