University of the Philippines in the Visayas, Art Gallery

According the new fabulous and must-have book on Iloilo, "Iloilo, A Rich and Noble Land", this building was designed by Juan Arellano built in 1934 as the Iloilo City Hall. The building features reliefs and sculptures by an Italian sculptor, Francisco Monti.

I walked through the doors of this awesome institution and spent most of my happy days there. The steps and the building's facade had been the background of many pictorials for the yearbooks.
