An 1870 British trophy from early in their long range, smallbore rifle competitions. The other trophy is French Canadian dated 1892. It is intersting in that the base is comprised of Sharps rifles! Final item is a Stevens advertising poster from 1941. Way past our period of interest in anything Stevens, but it does demonstrate that Savage was still well aware of the heritage they acquired along with the Stevens company! It was designed to stand up on a counter with a fold out stand at the bottom to hold a rifle.
