This is another late model single cavity mold - what makes it special is this: The mold is marked Massachusetts Arms Co., the handle is marked .38, and the bullet cavity is a typical Maynard, single grease groove bullet with beveled base. There has been considerable speculation on whether these late style single cavity molds were manufactured for Maynards or Stevens - well there can be no doubt - this is definitely a Maynard mold.
