In 2007 I 'spose I took pictures of *all* of the ships, easily viewed from my window. Alas I live on the "shadow" side of the event, so I'm unhappy with those photos.

This year fewer ships are featured. I took a ferry trip to Halifax and back with resulting snapshots bathed by the sun. As well in 2007 I used Picassa 2 to edit everything, degrading the already-poor quality. This year all images are fresh from the camera, except for some cropping with Paint.net.

I notice distortion at 20X zoom. Could it be heat waves over that distance?
