Manipulated

In this gallery I am exploring various photo manipulation techniques using image editing tools. It is really a place for me to post my trials. Critiques are appreciated. I love to hear if it is working and ALSO if it is not working. If you can tell me WHY, it did not work, that would be wonderful. The course is over, but I am still experimenting and posting here.

Rene,

I like the images that are located before the "Photoshop" gallery. They are rally talking to me reminding the paintings of old French masters. I love colors composition and textures. I think if it was your intention, you absolutely succeeded. But the images below just look to me like studies where you worked on your technique and not as accomplished works. Not all of them, but particularly leaves and flowers. But I always loved your artistic vision and your technique is perfect. I wish I could do something like this :-).

I really like these...your stlye somehow and so often elicits memories and such a strong feeling of time and place. Really like the sense of wonder and experimentation in this gallery too.

Well, I haven't gotten to that level of exploring in my experimental images so I can't offer any specific critique except to say that I'm impressed with what I've seen here. I'm still learning, too. :)

To begin with I love the idea of this gallery and especially like "Ice Tuft"...would be great if on some of these you mentioned just a bit more about how you achieved something...I usually do it on another site, but never thought to do it here...I'd also be interested in this course you are taking if you wouldn't mind e-mailing me...online or near home?
