This is my granddaughter at play during the family Thanksgiving visit. She has gathered her toys into the corner for her playhouse. She is wearing her mother's scarf and peeking out at me. The funniest thing is when she gets in the corner and reads one of her books to the dolls and stuffed animals. She has sort of a deep throaty tone and she reads quite loudly making up the story from the pictures. She uses lots of inflection and makes even the Animal ABC book quite dramatic. I love being a bystander. She entertains herself for long periods of time playing in the corner of the living room and she entertains Gram too.
