Strap ends

Silvered Trewhiddle strapend with animal head and Trewhiddle beast in profile. 9th century. Group A1 (Thomas 2000). 9th century Anglo Saxon strap end, bronze with silver and niello inlays, Thomas Class A Type 5, found Norfolk. Borre-style strap-end with three round-eared bear heads, 43 mm long.
Beast head, 51 mm Viking strapend, Yorkshire. 10th-11th century. Thomas Class E. Strapend, 45 mm, showing tree and two creatures with facing heads in the panel at top, Yorkshire. Thomas Class E. Strap end (Thomas 2000 Class I), 11th century, 37 mm with beast head.
