Thank you, Paul. I am happy my photos brought fond memories for you. I agree with you about the stunning beauty of Namibia. We visited Etosha, Soussusvlei, Damaraland and other areas in 2003. Unfortunately, my photos are on film and most have not been digitized for posting here.

Thank you very much for the wonderful pictures! Brings back sweet memories! I lived/worked in namibia for more than one year.
Its very beautiful, one among the most sparsely poplulated (1.9 people per sq. km) country in the world. If you wanna see paradise on earth you must visit the great Etosha pan towards the north.

Thank you for your generous comment. Namibia is truly a beautiful country.
Re sensor cleanliness, I think I was really lucky. I rarely changed lenses in the Namibian desert. When it became necessary, I made sure the camera was OFF and tried to keep it out of any breeze. There was so much rain in Botswana and Zimbabwe that dust was not a significant problem.
