Debby and I traveled to India and Myanmar with Geographic Expeditions in November and December 2016. The India segment focused on the tribal regions of Nagaland as well as points of interest in Assam and Manipur. Many thanks to our tour leader, Neel Pratap, our Assamese guide, Samir Pramanik, and the many people who helped to make this trip a fascinating experience.

My photos are organized into five galleries:
- Kolkata, although not in the northeast, our journey started there.
- Assam, Nagaland and Manipur, three of the seven states in Northeast India.
- Hornbill Festival, the annual tribal festival held near Kohima, Nagaland.
