Young women constantly trolled the beach trying to sell scarfs and other simple wares. Some of them were quite engaging, but their persistence weared on our patience. Consistent with other places in the world, they could not come above the high water mark on private beaches. Nonetheless, for many, walking the beach becomes a game of "dodge'em" at times.
