This was a two week trip for my 30th birthday. Mark flew out from England and we stayed on three resorts, overnighted on the deck of a supply dhoni, enjoyed a local island and camped on an uninhabited island. Poor Mark was sunburned, eaten alive, covered in heat rashes, cut, ran into a tree in the dark and finally had a coconut tree fall on him! (He's ok- he got a tetnus shot, x-rays, pain killers, neosporin and tiger balm.) He even got to hack open a coconut with a very small and dull knife...aside from that, he also learned line fishing and piloted a traditional fishing dhoni (a boat). He even got a tan!
