This is only the third time I've seen a YB sapsucker in the yard, and never a juvenile. I'm very surprised to see one this late in the year. It was definitely acting like a juvenile, uncertain as to where it was flying and landing. First I saw it on the thistle feeder of all places, then it flew over to the woodpecker feeders. I'm shooting out of the patio door, meanwhile trying to keep my cat from running out!
