This area of the yard is on a slope and the grass was in pretty bad shape. Rather than waste effort on it, we decided to make it into something useful. While we had <"http://www.ecoscapes1.com/">Ecoscapes working on our dry creek bed along the south side of the house, we asked them to cut out this sod for us. I later filled it in with compost, added mulch and planted some snowberry and gray dogwood shrubs along the fence. This year we are having Ecoscapes come out again and install at 13' pondless stream/waterfall here.
