I have been looking for this lens for the last few years. It's extremely hard to come by, and when they do show up, the cost is ridiculously high. I had the Super Takumar 85mm f1.9 that I sold a few years back and I regretted it ever since. Recently I had the great fortunate to have acquired this lens (and few others) from a very kind and generous man, Ron, who I will forever be grateful for. This lens will be with me for a long time and I intend to make good use of it.

This lens is perhaps one of the most sought after lens in the Pentax Takumar family, especially the Super-Multi-Coated version like this one. The build quality is top notch. Only the Leica is an equal but I prefer the Takumars in use. Their focusing is even better than the Leicas. Image quality is exceptional for a lens this vintage. If you ever get hold of one, keep it, because you may never find another again. If nothing else, the value of this lens just keeps going up.
