I took some of these photos to be printed at the photo finisher, but they came out disappointing. None of them could reproduce all the colors/hues of these pictures.[End Update]

The Sima SF lens is one very interesting lens. Let me say it first that you may be embarrassed to be seen with such a lens attached to your expensive camera, especially if you are used to using $1000+ lenses. This lens was designed to be CHEAP. The lens comes in two parts, which can be taken apart easily. You focus by push or pull the lens barrel and once your subject is IN focus, you must then HOLD the lens barrel to lock the focus and then take the picture. But, if you are ok to be seen with such an ugly lens, the experience could be very rewarding.

The design purpose of this lens was to take diffused, or Soft Focus pictures. This very cheaply made all plastic lens comes with aperture filters for F4 and F5.6. Without any filters, this lens is rated at F2. Though cheap, this lens can be very addictive, because you never know how the colours will turn out. Very often, the colours are completely not what you see in the view finder, especially when there is strong directional light.
