Konica Minolta A200

Without a doubt, this is the best point & shoot digital I have ever used.

Let's start with the lens. What a gorgeous and practical lens it has! 28-200mm f2.8-3.2! This lens is sharp, and produced great colours. Couple this lens with the Anti-Shake, you can take pictures in most lighting conditions.

Of course, the relatively large 2/3" CCD which houses 8 Million pixels and produces very low noise in low ISOs. Anything above ISO 100 is very noisy and not terribly usable, although ISO 200 ok to use in emergency situations.

One other cool and useful feature is the swivel LCD monitor.

Above all else, the image quality of this camera rivals DLSRs when used in low ISO. This is truly a walk around and travel camera. Light, yet pretty well built. Used ones can be had for a song. Best value for the money.
