We went out on Canada Day to experience the celebration of this great, beautiful country. Jimmy Simpson Park on Queen, is one of the places where beautiful music was played, intricate arts and crafts were displayed and sold. One of the unique crafts that we saw was the spinner bottles. These are made from recycled 2L soft drink bottles and they behave like wind chimes. When the wind comes, it will spin. The artist told me that his father taught him how to make this interesting craft, and in one winter, his father made FIVE THOUSAND of spinner bottles.
See next picture of a close up look of a spinner bottle.
