I actually had two copies of this lens, and both did not disappoint. Like its sister lens, the Distagon 35mm f2.8, this lens is even more amazing. Sharpness, colour, contrast, this lens has got it. On the Kodak SLR/c full frame camera, this lens is very sharp at the edges by F5.6, and because of the Kodak SLR/c's lack an anti-alias filter, this lens is superb in resolving details with the Kodak's 14 megaPixels. The only downside for of this lens is that it's a manual focus lens. It's difficult to focus without a split screen.
