Gypsy has been on a fluconazole regimen since December and has had great progress since her diagnosis of Valley Fever. Thankfully as soon as she got that deep cough and gagging we immediately had her vet check it out. The spore growth was not visible on the first x-ray of her lungs but 16 days later there it was. If you live in the desert the best advice I can give you is if your pet starts coughing deep, see a vet.

Gypsy turned 7 in December, no picture could show just how cute she really is. We have never and will never have a another dog that is so expressive, and alert. I am sad to report this December Gypsy was diagnosed with valley fever. While this might not be a big deal to some she is very uncomfortable, not her self, and the cough keeps us up as the suppressant only lasts several hours. One can only hope that the medication is going to work because she brings so much laughter to our home.

Well I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one who has a Chihuahua whose ears don't stand up. My Little Brown Sweetie is just a year old now in June, and everynow and then she will hold her ears up if she is curious but most of the time they flop like a hound dogs. But I wouldn't take a million for her. Gypsy is adorable and I can tell very well spoiled. Thanks for sharing her photos.

I love Gypsy! :) I have a Chi but she isnt' so small ... she's 10 and she weighs 7 pounds! I've only had her for a year and she's trying to lose weight but without much success. Your gypsy is precious.

Tiffany, I googled "chihuahua pictures" the other night, and I found Gypay'a pictures. It was like looking at pictures of MY dog, Delilah. She looked EXACTLY like Gypsy in the "smaller than a soup can" phase. In fact, my husband took Lila to work in a 12-can Coke Box (back when the boxes were more square than long). I laughed as I looked through the pictures where you had her ears taped up-- we NEVER could (and still cannot) get Lila's ears to stand up. It is rare occasion, and it has become a joke in our house that she is too lazy to hold those big ol' ears up. Then, I seriously almost cried when I saw her full grown. She LOOKS JUST LIKE HER. Lila is our biggest chihuahua ( we have three), and she sits with her hind legs out to the side (because her tummy gets in tbe way). My husband is always joking that Lila looks depressed because she uses her "eyebrows" to make expressions, and I can see that in Gypsy's pictures, also. The ones that make me laugh the most, though, are Gypsy sitting on the arm of the couch. Delilah is sitting on my couch right now looking out a window that looks very much like the window you have. It is uncanny the resemblance. I have put Gypsy in my favorites, and I have looked at her every day this week. I love my Lila girl, and it makes me smile to see someone else with such a friend. Gypsy is sooo cute. i would love 2 have a chihuahua like gypsy.she is sooo tiny yet sooo cute. you r luky to have gypsy.she is such a cutie pie don't u think? i also like her colour. i love chocolate dogs but this is my best 1 yet!

Your little Gypsy is a cutie pie. I hope when i come back i see more pics. I love her. I've always wanted a girl chihuahua of my own but cant afford one. Maybe one day I might get one. I told my mom i'd love to have one for my 15th b-day next month. I hope I get to see more photos of Gypsy though. I love ur website.
