Message from Megan T Guffey
Thank you so much for looking at my photos. I am always looking to improve at what I am doing, so I would love any comments and tips you might have for me.
I grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I think being able to wander off into the forest by myself when I was a kid helped me to really enjoy the beauty that surrounds me. I have always loved scenery and sunsets/sunrises, but recently my preferences have expanded to find beauty in so many more locations.
When in locations heavily filled with other tourists, I try to capture views where it would seem as if I am the only one there. It adds some challenge to the day.
I love landscapes. There is something invigorating standing on a mountain looking across a valley shadowed by clouds and warmed by the sun while a breeze brushes past my face. It reminds that life does not need to be as complicated as I often try to make it. Then I take it a step further, I don't even have the words to describe what is around me...so many minute details and colors...If I don't have proper words, how can I then describe its Creator. God made everything around me, but he calls me, us, his masterpiece and wants us to have a relationship with him. Wow, now I feel special.
