good afternoon. I am a real rookie at this sort of thing so I will just ask my question. I am going to carve a Wood Thrush and I am having trouble finding reference photos. Yours are excellent. My question is this: how do I go about getting permission to use them. Thanks

Hi Glenn and Carol,

How are you two doing!? Long time no see! I see you live in California now. Fed up with the cold? Here in Holland everything is fine. Two more years to go for my PhD. Maybe I'll be doing a post-doc in California, so we can do some birding again! Still birding a lot and doing a lot of photography. My last trip was to Kenya. There are some nice pictures on my friends website www.luchters.nl.

All the best,

Martijn Verdoes

Glen,
I'm very impressive of your different galleries, Especially of Wilson petrel. Where did you took this photos? Personnaly, i stayed 1 year in antarctica (see my 2 galleries), and that was the most difficult bird to photograph (small bird and allways in movement).
Congratulation for this beautifull shots.

Glen,

I found your photos of the Costa's hummingbird. On January 1st, 2006, an imature male was banded in Montgomery, Alabama, the first record in the east. I have put a link to your site so that others can see what he will look like when he grows up.

Those are great digiscopes, Glen! I used to do it, and have a few of my old ones up on my site in a separate gallery, but never close to that quality -- yours will now be a site I send people to for showing what can be done with digiscoping.
Ken Owen 16-Nov-2005 15:55
It takes a lot of time out to get that many quality shots. Great work.

Hi Glen,

As you know I have seen and admired your pics on Birds-pix and Birdforums, but this time I surfed over from Mangoverde - I'm particularly interested in the Panama gallery, as a group of us are going there in March ( a week at Canopy Tower and a week on the coast). As usual, wonderful shots!

Cheers,

Richard Stern (www.pbase.com/rb_stern)

Folks, Glen has revealed to me his mission - to turn us all into birders. From my point of view, he is succeeding handsomely. Keep up the great work!

Love the way you composed your gallery and am impressed with the 100-400 is lens. I know this lens loves light. but you achieved some of the best images in low or lack of light settings (overcast) Way to go. I love my 10D too.

You have a great body of work here. I really admire the layout of your webpage. It's the kind of site I'd like to have for myself one day, thanks. See you at BirdForum.
