Highlights from a number of trips to Europe over the years:
A sightseeing trip to southwest England -- Bath, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly -- and London in August and September 2004. From Scilly we did an extraordinary pelagic birding trip with renowned seabirder Bob Flood.
An International Transit Studies Program work trip to London and Nottingham, England; Strasbourg, France; Berlin and Karlsruhe, Germany; and Oslo, Norway, in June 2010. I had a day off in Berlin and went birding in the Uckermark region in northeastern Germany with local guide Rolf Nessing, and did a little incidental birding in the other cities.
A short birding tour in Spain, mostly in Catalunya, with local guide Steve West, followed by a cruise from Barcelona to New York in September-October 2016. The cruise made a stop in Madeira where we spent a day birding with local guides Hugo Romano & Catarina Correia-Fagundes.
A cruise from Dublin, Ireland to Oslo, Norway, in June-July 2018, with stops in the Isle of Man (UK); Belfast, Northern Ireland; Ullapool and the Orkney Islands, Scotland; several towns on the west and north coasts of Norway; and Murmansk, the Solovetsky Islands and Archangel, Russia. We fit some birding into the shore excursions at most of the stops, including a day with a gracious Birding Pal host, Fred Hodgson, on the Isle of Man.

Well done on the Fea's Petrel Glen...this is almost the Holy Grail for seawatchers here in the UK. I don't like to think how many hours I've sat on windwept cliffs in Cornwall hoping to see one of these beauties.
