This Sunday will be the 4th annual "Welcome The Winter Trail Run" from Stampede Pass to Snoqualmie Summit. This is 18 miles of prime, single track, running on the Pacific Crest Trail. Each of the past 3 years we have hit the first snow at Snoqualmie Pass for this run. Last year we ran on 4" of light fluffy powder. This makes the surface on the PCT soft with good traction. This weekend the snow level is supposed to drop to 1800', so it looks like we may get a dusting again.
