Lisa and I arrived a week earlier to explore the Greek Islands. The plan was to visit Santorini for a couple days, then take the fast ferry to Mykonos for a couple more days and make a day trip to Delos. However, the fast ferry was cancelled on our planned date of departure and we spent an extra day on Santorini. That actually turned out to be a good thing because we decided to go for a run; no plans, no water bottles, no food...just go out and explore...and to our surprise we stumbled upon the secluded north end of the island with gorgeous views, churches high in the hills and trails! We ran back to get our cameras and went out again to document our discovery just before sunset. The fast ferry was cancelled again the next day and we ended up taking the slow ferry, which took an agonizing 9 hours, to Mykonos. Because we lost a day traveling, we didn't get a chance to visit Delos. After a couple days on Mykonos, we flew back to Athens to meet up with Team Jerker, and the rest is history.
