UCI World Cup Mont Ste-Anne 2012: Women & Men Elite Downhill
On June 24th 2012, the best downhill riders in the world had to face the very technical and high-speed course of Mont Ste-Anne. This competition was part of the annual Velirium event held at Mont Ste-Anne, Québec. This year race was won again by Aaron Gwin (Trek World Racing; USA) in a time of 4:14.022, which is 17 seconds faster then last year. This represents going downhill at a speed of 40.1 km/h in a steep, rocky and dangerous mountain trail! Wow! Enjoy the gallery.
