In August 2004, Mandy and I spent a week in the wonderful city of Paris. What you see here is a combination photo album and travelogue of our trip. I've split up the pictures and logs by day, to make it easier for people to follow along our journey. As you enter each day's gallery, I'll have written out the events of the day at the top of the page, followed by the pictures from that day below. When you view the full-sized picture by clicking on it, you'll sometimes find some detailed comments from me on that picture, describing what the picture is, what was happening while that picture was being taken, or perhaps some interesting tidbit about the scene.

The final gallery is a list of tips I have for travellers to Paris, from idiosyncracies about Paris itself, to suggestions on travel books that we used (and found useful) during our trip.
