My maiden name was Mathys and I was born, raised and educated in Ohio. I was really surprised to read about and see photos of the Mathys bridge. I would like to know more about it, its history, and to visit it when my husband and I travel from our home in Florida this spring. (Yes, we are retired.) I understand that it is on private property. Could you tell me who to contact to gain permission to see it? I would also be interested in its history and how it got its name.
