A Journey Through Ireland

This gallery shows my journeys through Ireland over an 8 day period in May, 2004. The spring bloom was out in full display and the lush green countryside was at its best. It was hard to imagine a better time to visit. Even the notorious weather cooperated as it remained dry until the final day. My journey began in Belfast and proceeded counter-clockwise around the island until reaching Dublin.

Have not been back for 4 years now, Guy with these pictures you brought back some very happy memories lad.. I'm now based in Johannesburg -South Africa, and miss the homeland!! planning a trip back for late next year.

Dear Guy Schmickle

Wow, what wonderful pics. The colours are so true as if you were using a non-digital camera with Fuji film. Through the settings I realize you get such good pictures. What about the lenses, does that make a difference? Excuse my ignorance but is there a difference between Nikon lenses and Nikkor lenses? According to quick research done Nikkor lenses are made by Nikon. So does one get Nikon lenses and Nikkor lenses or are they on and the same?
