Wintry Slide Rock

Well, Slide Rock State Park certainly lived up to its name. I visited shortly after a winter storm hit the area to get a few snowy shots of the place. With the previous day's melting snow along with Oak Creek's floodwaters watering down the slickrock embankments followed by an overnight freeze, everything had a nice icy glaze to it. After a couple of slips and falls, I decided to be happy with the few shots I got and call it a morning!

Another nice image. This one has such a nice feel to it with the rushing waters and the snow frosting the ledges.
