The Grand Canyon - South Rim

The images found here are the result of a one day shoot at the south rim of the Grand Canyon in late October, 2004. Unfortunately, the weather did not fully cooperate with my limited timetable as cloudy skies prevented any decent golden hour shots. That will have to wait for another time.

Well done anyway despite the weather. We visited in October of this year and had the same problem!

These are some very well done photographs! I visited the canyon back in February and the visibility was extremely limited due to sour weather. I can appreciate your lament about bad timing.

Thanks Rian and Gary. And yes, I was there two days before a foot of snow dumped on the place. What shots those conditions would have made! I always seemed to be cursed with lousy timing. :-(

Stunning views Guy. Looks like October has some added color. Beautiful depth and clarity... well composed. I recommend this gallery and have to get there soon.
