Colorado Gold: Striking It Rich - 2006

Took a beautiful trip through southwest Colorado at the peak of the autumn color season (Sept 29 - Oct 2, 2006). The golden aspen backdropped by majestic mountains creates an allure that's impossible to resist. Its hard to imagine anyplace more scenic at this time of year. We spent most of our time in the San Juan mountains with a day trip to Crested Butte and the Kebler pass area. A return visit is definitely in order!!
