when you look at the city of Cebu, there are mountains behind it. if you take the road that winds up the mountainside, you pass many little barangay that seem to cling to the side of the mountains. when we travelled to a placed called discovery park, we left the paved road and drove maybe 2 miles over a single lane dirt road, it was amazing, as we crested one hill, there was a gathering of people, they all cleared the way for out "Multi cab" and then i saw all the roosters, the great sport of cock fighting a way to pass a sunday afternoon, i even saw several books in the bookstore on the subject. well anyway we continued onward till the road turned to a footpath and we got out and walked, it was so nice, Hot< but nice the scenery was awe inspiring, the cultivated flowerbeds, no tractors here, all done by the sweat of the brow, Hard work.it was nice as we all trekked across the trail i snapped this one and a few others in this gallery. that was a great day. on the way out the surface of the road was damp and slippery so it took some serious effort to get out as the wheels were spinning half way to the top of the first hill out. well having experience of ice and mud in my alaskan home i coached the drive heheh and we had the ladies sit in the cab and the men pushed and the driver drove like hell.... and we made it... yahoo!!!
