Day 100 - Dusty Rollei
(830/365)
This is actually from a second set of shots of my Rollei f/2.8. After looking at the first one in LR, I realized it needed to be cleaned. So I cleaned it. Then I took this shot. Really, I cleaned it. That would be persistent dust.

Day 99 - Droplet
(829/365)
This is a drop on the face shield of my helmet. Tonight was my first wet ride of the season (it will NOT be my last). I have this down pat, when I get in with wet gear, I have a place for everything so it can dry by morning. Even though I won't be riding in the morning, I still follow the process.
My 580EX-2 came back from Canon Service today. That simple little drop broke the flash bulb. It was still much cheaper to repair it than to get another. I'm so happy that it came back, I really don't like the 420EX anymore.
The red in the background is from the pattern on the top of the helmet, it is red and white (mostly red).

Day 98 - Downeaster
(828/365)
I admit it, I am a camera junkie. I'm stopped at the RR crossing this evening on the ride home and the first thing I think about is whipping out the LX3 and nabbing the Downeaster as it passes by. I have to be quick because it's only about 15 seconds tops from the time the time the crossing signals drop until the train is gone and the gates are back up. As it was, I was still farting around with the lens cap when the guy in front of me was gone. I wound up riding away with my right glove hanging from it's heater cord. (Mileage says: 33877).

Day 97 - Useful
(827/365)
There is a roll of duct tape sitting on our counter. I believe I am the one who put it there over the weekend. The kids will use it for various things when left out so I should probably hide it again. It makes for an interesting Macro subject. For some reason, I've got Macro on my mind lately.

Day 96 - The Brakes
(826/365)
A macro of one of my daughter's front brake on her bicycle. I took the bikes out of storage for the winter this weekend. They need a little work first. I didn't realize how dirty these things had gotten over the years. We do the Carriage Paths up in Acadia every year, lots of dirt and dust.

Day 95 - Dangle
(825/365)
For some odd reason, when I stepped back and looked at my keys hanging down from my top case, I figured it might make for an interesting photo. After I messed with the sliders in Lightroom, I settled on this. The background is an OOF and underexposed panel of sheetrock. I believe the orange is from the lighting, it's just been magnified by my misuse of the sliders.

Day 94 - Peeps
(824/365)
Easter is the day of celebration of sugar. I normally don't partake in the festivate intake of sugar, for some reason today I had a few peeps (in fact this guy in the foreground no longer exists). I am really feeling the tired feeling after a nice little sugar rush earlier. Another reason for feeling tired is the fact that we spent pretty much the whole day outside (though I spent yesterday outside as well). It was an incredible weekend, weatherwise. I'm going to go eat another one of these Peeps.

Day 93 - Legs
(823/365)
So spring is here with a vengence. Temps were in the 70's today, very sunny, very dry. I got up bright and early with a goal of maybe getting the bike on the road by the end of the day. I thought I had to take my son to Lacrosse at 10:30, but my wife did that for me. We did have a Cub Scout meeting today at 1:30 as well.
I was so productive this morning that I had the bike together and running before noon. I even took it for a ride down the street and back. Shortly after the meeting I took a nice long ride.
My wife wasn't helping me concentrate on the bike today, she was wearing these short-shorts which were pretty distracting. That is another good thing about good weather. She was camped out on the couch this evening, reading a book, so I broke out the camera and captured some abstract legs.

Day 92 - Not Giving Up
(822/365)
Even though I got out late again, I spent a little bit of time in the shop and worked on the bike a bit. It looks like my tank will only need Rubbing Compound, Polish, and Wax. My side panels really need a thorough sanding, but I have run out of the good Clear Coat. I might be opting for riding over fashion this weekend.

Day 91 - Almost There
(821/365)
This was from a "Dry Fit" earlier today. I put the side panel in place before it even had clear coat on it. I had set the gas tank in place as well, I hit the tank with a lot of 600 Grit, little too much it turns out as I sanded down to bare metal around the bottom of the tank. The darker color along the bottom of the tank is where I had to repaint to cover the mes up. Since this photo, the panels and tank have come off and have four coats of clear (Spray Max 2K). The luggage is back on (Top and sides cases). I've adjusted and cleaned the chain (it has finally stretched a little). I've also cleaned the front, re-adjusted the handlebars, finished painting the bar ends and have even mounted them. I can't wait to get back on the road this weekend. It has been way too long off two wheels.

Day 90 - Cute Little Guy
(820/365)
I snapped this on my iPhone before walking into the local Honda Stealer today. I had no idea it was going to be my PaD though.

Day 89 - Primary Pointer
(819/365)
My primary pointing device on my Mac. I've had this mouse since my PC days, it worked nicely with the Mac so I've kept it on.
