This gallery is the result of a morning shoot at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington DC. I'd never been there before, but found an abundance of great subjects. The lotus and lillies were beautiful. We heard but didn't see the bull frogs since they were faster than we. The morning light was perfectly diffused by cloud cover, which periodically let loose with light rain and/or downpoors, sending all running for cover with tripods and gear bags in hand. Although not all images are of Lotus flowers/plants, all are in "that world" in this great park.
