I think that eight will decided buy some bouyancy bags ..... or preferabley a newer safer boat ..... pretty soon ...... good job they didn't race that boat on the Thames.

I was not there - at a wedding being blown to kingdom come - and all I could think of was what on earth was happening at NSR - well done to everyone who took part - and to those who valiently 'rowed/paddled/swam' over the line especially well done.

These photos are a wonderful series and also show how well drilled all our young competitors are - you stayed with your boats.

Hi, im from Bedford School. Being told to cease racing because Bedford Modern have sunk infront of us made that day worthwhile. Our future head master agrees with this...

Hi, this is a representive of Bedford Modern School, who fell sank in on that faithfull day. Just wanted to thank the marhalls who eventually saved us, and also these great photos, which i think i will remember for the rest of my life!!!
