The contractor put the range in where I had cabinets and a cook top before. He used the doors to make new cupboards to the right, where the oven was.

My old cooking appliances were from the late 50's or early sixties. Pink of course! I'm amazed at the new features I now have. Smooth cook top heats up so much faster. The oven temp is right on. Plus, the oven is much larger than my old one. And it has a timer that works!
