I just received this in an email from Justin's father, John. I would like to share this with everyone so that you know who Justin was and why John and I honor this young Marine!

Good Evening everyone,
I hope this finds you all well, we are doing as good as can be expected for the circumstances. The reason for this letter is to advise you of some news we just received from the Marines.Our son, L/Cpl. Justin M. Ellsworth was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device.As you read the story below, It will give you a sense of what Justin was doing, how he was doing it and his dedication to his fellow Marines. I must warn you, some of the descriptions are graphic.
This just gives us a better understanding of what he went through. We wanted to let you know because EACH OF YOU have helped Justin by supporting him during his short time in Iraq before his death, Helped us during this time of great sorrow and continue to show your support to our family. We will be forever grateful.
This is a great honor bestowed upon Justin but we think it is a deserving one.
