Kite Festival 2007

10th Suffolk International Kite Festival 19th - 20th May 2007
At Rougham Airfield.
Rougham Airfield is situated a couple of miles east of Bury St Edmunds, UK and was home to the USAAF 322nd and 94th Bombardment Groups during the Second World War. http://www.rougham.org/94th.php This airfield is one of the few wartime bases to retain its Control Tower into current times.

Never seen a kite festival! Looked like fun! They are much larger than I thought! Excellent photography!

Thanks Patricia.... It certainly was a great day; unfortunately the wind wasn't too kind to the flyer's, in the calm conditions they weren't able to to show off all of their talents.

I certainly must go again next year.

This looked like a fun day out Ken...I love kites and what an array of amazing shapes and sizes you have captured....Beautiful photos!!!
