Named in honor of Samuel Lancaster, designer of the Columbia River Highway, this waterfall is located one mile from the Starvation Creek Rest Area along the Mount Defiance trail. Only a small portion of it can be seen from the trail. However, an upper tier can be seen by scrambling up the slope from the trail, though I would not recommend this unless you are in very good physical condition. This gallery includes photos of both the lower and upper tiers.
Here is a video of the upper tier so you can better appreciate this waterfall.
